Hello, lovelies! I have a different sort of post for you today. One of my favorite hobbies that I use to wind down is journaling. I love creating artwork for my journal pages as well as pouring out my thoughts. So, I decided to compile some of my favorite supplies that I use to bring out my creativity when journaling.

Journals

Of course, the most important thing that you'll need for the journaling process is, well, a journal! There are various different styles to look for depending on your preferences. If you're looking to get started with bullet journaling, dotted pages are probably your best bet. If you want to add a creative flair to your writing with additional artwork, blank pages may be up your alley. Or, if you simply want a place to write down your thoughts without the extra steps, lined pages are always a good go-to. Regardless, finding a journal that works for you is vital.
Organization
(from top left to right)
For me, an important part of creative projects like art and journaling is the method of organization. A good organizer can keep your supplies from being loose everywhere and feeling overwhelming. Whether it's a pencil case, desk organizer, or carrying pouch, a good place to keep all your stationary supplies and tools can make a big difference.
Writing Tools
(from left to right)
I like to use a variety of writing and drawing tools when I journal. Whether it is using a drawing pen to go over a pencil outline or highlighting important entries, your writing tool can make a big impact on not only the functionality of your journal but its appearance, as well.
Stickers
(from left to right)
Bunny Stickers / Washi Sticker Pad / Color Palette Stickers / Strawberry Stickers / Flower Stickers / Polco Star Travel Stickers
Stickers are such a fun way to decorate journal entries. I find that adding some stickers can really add a lot to the aesthetic design of a journal entry. They are also a great way to express your creativity when journaling which is probably my favorite part of the process.
Extras
(from top left to right)
I've found that having a sort of "catch-all" section in lists like this is usually necessary. Minor tools and accessories like glue sticks, scissors, and paper clips are also very helpful when it comes to journaling. Depending on your style, scrap-booking papers can also add a unique and artistic flair to your entries.
These are just a few of the supplies that I like to use in my journaling process. If you journal, I'd love to hear about what types of tools you prefer to use. Are you considering taking on journaling as an activity if you don't already? Let me know in the comments! Until next time, lovelies!
