Maggie Valley, North Carolina - 2022

 

Hello, lovelies! It has certainly been a little while since I've posted. Life has been so busy, and, with the upcoming holiday season, I imagine it's only going to get busier. Thankfully, I did have the opportunity to relax and get away for a bit. I was so grateful to be able to take a trip during the week of Thanksgiving (and my birthday!) to Maggie Valley, NC! Read on to see how the trip went!

We were lucky enough to find the most amazing cabin on Airbnb, and the views definitely did not disappoint!

These were all taken from the front balcony of the cabin. I definitely enjoyed looking out in them morning to see the sun rise over the Smokey Mountains. It was truly a magical experience!

Another part of the trip that I really enjoyed was visiting Soco Falls. The waterfall was so gorgeous and serene. It was absolutely beautiful! I had to navigate a semi-slippery and rocky trail to get to see the falls, but it was well worth it. 

Finally, I was able to meet with some family and friends for Thanksgiving dinner. The above is what I wore for the occasion. It was so great to be able to travel and see new sights. Travelling is something that I truly value and hope to continue to do as time goes on. I have so many places on my travel bucket list - here's hoping I'll be able to cross off a few more!
