Hello, lovelies! This weekend has been so peaceful, which is something that I can admit I've needed for a while now. Sometimes life moves so very quickly and time seems to fly. So, when the opportunity arises to take a breather, it can feel very refreshing.
My break for this weekend was venturing to a local pop-up called Vintage Market Days. It is an higher end vintage and vintage-inspired indoor/outdoor market. I've been once before to this pop-up around two years ago, and I enjoyed the experience immensely. So, when I saw that the event had returned, I was so pumped and ready to visit again! Also, I do want to note that I am fully vaccinated, which is why I am not wearing a mask for the photos (in case anyone was curious).
I had such a blast at the market! I also got a lot of compliments on my outfit which was very affirming as I had been indecisive on what I was going to wear. I definitely loved wearing this grey maxi dress from The Pink Lily Boutique as well as this tote bag from Amazon! I also have some similar dupes for my lace duster here, here, and here. Also, yes, that is my hat on the couch in the background - it was so windy that it wouldn't stay on my head, haha! I have some dupes for the hat listed here and here.
Here is a better look at my makeup for the day! I went for something more neutral with a glowing, rosy tone. I used my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer with SPF +30 and Physician's Formula Talc-Free Pressed Powder with SPF +30 for light coverage and to protect my face from UVA and UVB rays. I also used my Milani Rose Blush, NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick, and Urban Decay Perversion Mascara to complete the look. Also, here is a dupe for the highlighter palette that I used to add the finishing touch!
I loved these little photo-op corners that were set up at the market, as well! The theme this year (as you can probably tell) is 'Bloom', so it was so nice to see so many flowers and plants all throughout the market.
Should I do a follow up post to showcase what I purchased? Do you have any similar events near you? Let me know in the comments!
